I am a versatile frontend developer with a speciality in React JS. I also have a solid grip of the fundamentals of web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Front-End Developer
I am a web developer and designer based out of West Lafayette, Indiana. After 12 years of service as a pilot in the USAF, I am switching careers to be a software developer. I love building apps that solve real-world problems and are delightful to use. My specialties include integrating hardware with software, React JS, Styled Components, and Java.
I have tried several jobs in manufacturing, but none of them seemed to fit with my skills and abilities. My background in software development started with Java. I have a bachelor’s degree in astronautical engineering with a minor in math from the United States Air Force Academy. Upon leaving the military, I went back to school for an associate’s degree in software development. I currently have over 5 years of experience in software development.
